Almarai Vendor Registration: Where a New Supplier Starts

Almarai, the Saudi food and dairy group, also runs capital projects, and its vendor portal lists CAPEX as the business type for new suppliers. The portal, vendor.almarai.com, is in English only. Its Register New Supplier form asks for an Almarai supplier code, so it creates a login for a company Almarai already knows. Almarai publishes no registration guide, document list or approval time.

The steps

If you have no supplier code, use Contact us on the vendor portal and choose CAPEX as the nature of business.
Enter your company name, contact person, phone and email, and a note of up to 500 characters on what you supply. You can add your website and one file of up to 5 MB.
If Almarai takes your company on, it issues a supplier code. Almarai does not publish how it makes this decision.
With the code, use Register New Supplier to create your portal login: code, company name, address, phone and email.

What it requires

On the contact form: company name, contact person, phone, email and a note of up to 500 characters
Optional: your website and one uploaded file of up to 5 MB
After onboarding, Almarai says it screens suppliers with an ESG questionnaire and has them sign its code of conduct. Critical or high-risk suppliers also get a self-assessment, and onboarded suppliers an audit plan

A 500-character description of what you supply, written to match your website
A website that shows who you are, what you supply and your certificates. Almarai's anti-bribery policy tells its staff to check a supplier's reputation and credibility first
